Box — project files
Box is where every file of the project lives. You are invited to one folder per project: <Project> - Workspace. It shows up in your Box under All Files. You never see the client's folder or the supervisor's folder — only Workspace.
Inside the Workspace
| Folder | What it is |
|---|---|
| _Resources | Everything the supervisor prepared for you: briefs, references, guides, base meshes, tools. Read-only in spirit — do not reorganise it. |
| _Resources / Examples | Sample files and scripts we received for the project, cleaned for you. |
| Batch_01_… / |
Working folders per asset. Each asset folder follows our standard layout (!Reference, Meshes, Textures, SubstancePainter, Zbrush). |
What you do here
- Download the resources you need; keep the folder structure as it is.
- Upload your work into the folder of the asset you are assigned to. Use the subfolders — meshes to
Meshes, textures toTextures, source files to their tool folder. - Upload before you set CHECK IT in Monday. The supervisor reviews what is in Box.
- Name files clearly and consistently — asset name, step, version (for example
Hair_Pompadour_01_LOD0_v03.fbx).
Rules
- Sign in with the same e-mail we invited. A free personal Box account is fine.
- Never share Box links or files outside the project. Everything in Workspace is confidential under your agreement with us.
- Do not delete or move other people's files. If something looks wrong, tell the supervisor.
- Large uploads: use the Box web app or Box Drive; keep an eye on the upload finishing before you close the tab.
Common problems
- "I don't see the folder." You accepted the invitation with a different e-mail, or you are logged into another Box account. Sign out and sign in with the invited e-mail.
- "The folder appears twice / I see a second Workspace." You work on two projects; each Workspace carries the project name in its title.
