Miro — the visual brief
Every project has a Miro board. It is the place where the supervisor shows rather than tells: references, mood boards, style targets, side-by-side comparisons and feedback drawn straight onto your renders.
Your access
- You are invited as a guest to the project board only — no Miro subscription needed.
- Accept the invitation e-mail with the same e-mail we invited and open the board.
- You can view and comment. You cannot move or delete other people's content; if you need something changed on the board, ask the supervisor.
How to use it
- Read the board before you start an asset and again after every feedback round.
- Use comments (the speech-bubble tool) to ask about a specific reference — click the spot, write, tag the supervisor with
@. - Zoom and frames: the board is organised into frames (one per asset or topic); the frame list on the left jumps between them.
- Files, source data and final work do not go to Miro — they belong in Box. Miro is for looking and talking.
Common problems
- "The link says I have no access." You are logged into Miro with a different e-mail. Sign out, accept the invitation again with the invited e-mail.
- "I can see the board but not comment." Refresh after accepting the invitation; if it persists, tell the supervisor.
