Discord — daily communication
Discord is where the team talks. Feedback that needs a discussion, quick questions, "I'm blocked" — all of that happens in the project channel, not by e-mail.
Joining
You joined our server during onboarding (the link in your welcome e-mail). If you ever leave the server, ask the supervisor for a new link — access is tied to your Discord account.
The project channel
When you are added to a project, you receive the project role. The role makes a private channel with the project's name visible to you in the Projects category. Only people on that project see it. When the project ends, the role is removed and the channel disappears for you.
- Use the channel for anything project-related: questions, updates, blockers, calls with the supervisor.
- Keep files in Box and screenshots in the Monday subitem thread — the channel is for talking, not for storage.
- Do not contact the client directly. Everything client-facing goes through the supervisor or producer.
Notifications
Our Monday automations ping you on Discord when:
- you are assigned to a subitem,
- the supervisor answers your question or sets NEEDS CHANGES.
Make sure notifications for our server are on and that your Discord user ID is in our database (we asked for it during onboarding).
Etiquette
- Use your real name (or the name you signed with) so the team recognises you.
- Post in the project channel, not in private messages, unless it is personal.
- Time zones differ — write it down, do not wait for a reply in real time.
